The cement based Zinsser 260542/27295 Blue Swimming Pool Paint for Concrete/Plastered Pool – 5 Ga is formulated for decorating and waterproofing interior and exterior concrete, gunite, masonry or plastered swimming pools. The drying time required is around four to six hours after application. Second coat should be applied at least 24 hours after the first coat. The ready-to-use paint can cover 75-100 square feet per gallon on rough surfaces whereas smooth surfaces coverage is 125-150 square feet. The blue pool paint is packaged in 5 Gallon pail and should works well on both concrete and plastered pool.
 
Users have found it worked as promised but the shipping of product comes without Styrofoam or bubble wrap. Sand is not recommended for adding to the paint as it will clump up in spots.
